Read these terms before creating an account or using Brazuk. They form an agreement between you and the Brazuk operator for use of the platform.

By creating an account, you confirm that you have read and accept this version of the Terms of Use and that you are at least 18 years old. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use authenticated areas of Brazuk.
2. The Brazuk service
Brazuk is a community platform primarily for Brazilians in the United Kingdom. It brings together content, community, listings, tools and ways to connect with shops, providers and other users. Features may vary by region and app version.
3. Account and security
You must provide accurate information, keep it up to date, protect your password and report unauthorised use. Each person must use their own account. We may request proportionate checks to prevent fraud, protect users or meet legal obligations.
4. Acceptable use
You must not use Brazuk for fraud, harassment, unlawful discrimination, exploitation, spam, manipulation of reviews or the Brazuk Score, rights infringement, unlawful or misleading content, malware, unauthorised data collection or attempts to bypass security controls.
5. An intermediary platform
Unless a specific flow expressly says otherwise, Brazuk facilitates connections and is not the employer, landlord, seller or provider of the listed user. Check identity, qualifications, licences, insurance, prices and terms before engaging someone. Community content is not a substitute for professional legal, immigration, financial or medical advice.
6. Shops, listings and professionals
A person publishing an offer is responsible for its accuracy, legality, availability, price, taxes, licences, insurance, safety and delivery. Brazuk may require evidence and may review, limit, pause or remove listings and profiles where there is risk, a report, inconsistent information or expired evidence.
7. Payments and external providers
Payments enabled in the app are processed by providers identified in the relevant flow. Brazuk should not receive or store full card numbers. Applicable fees, currency, total and terms must be shown before confirmation. Disabled or unconfigured financial features are not an offer of service.
8. Cancellations, refunds and consumer rights
Cancellation and refund rules depend on the product, seller, provider and contracted flow and must be shown before purchase. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer rights under applicable law.
9. User content
You retain rights in content you submit and confirm that you are authorised to publish it. You grant Brazuk a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence limited to what is needed to host, technically adapt, moderate and display that content for operation and promotion of the platform. You may delete content where the feature is available, subject to lawful retention.
10. Moderation, reports and safety
We may investigate reports, preserve evidence, reduce reach, remove content, restrict features or suspend accounts where reasonably necessary for safety, integrity, legal compliance or enforcement of these terms. Where appropriate, we will provide an explanation and a way to challenge the action.
11. Brazuk Score
Brazuk Score is an internal community reputation indicator, not an official credit score or a credit reference agency. It uses signals linked to verifiable platform activity. Shops and users cannot freely award points or create false relationships to manipulate results.
12. Access, decisions and challenges
The exact Score is private by default. Where access is authorised, it must be only an additional signal and never the sole basis for denying credit, employment, housing, rent or a service. The data subject can request an explanation, correction, challenge and human review through available features.
13. Intellectual property
The Brazuk brand, software, design and original content are protected by intellectual property rights. These terms permit only personal use or commercial use expressly authorised on the platform and transfer no ownership to you.
14. Privacy
Processing of personal data is explained in the separate current Privacy Policy. Accepting these terms does not turn every processing activity into consent; Brazuk uses the appropriate lawful basis for each purpose.
15. Suspension and termination
You may request account deletion through available channels. We may restrict or close an account for a material breach, risk, fraud, legal obligation or discontinuation. Data required for legal obligations, fraud prevention or legal claims may be retained for the applicable period.
16. Availability and operational changes
We aim to keep the service secure and available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may fix, update, replace or withdraw features. Third-party integrations can also become unavailable outside Brazuk’s direct control.
17. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Brazuk is not liable for indirect loss or independent acts of users and third parties. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable.
18. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms for legal, operational or security reasons. The version and date will be displayed. Where a change is material and law or the nature of the service requires it, we will give advance notice and request renewed acceptance.
19. Governing law and disputes
These terms are interpreted under Brazilian law. This does not remove mandatory rights of consumers, professionals or data subjects where the service is offered, including applicable protections in the United Kingdom. Before contacting the competent authority or court, we recommend contacting support to seek a resolution.
